Holiday Rosary Tours
On various holy days and holiday days, Pro-Life members from a number of local parishes gather to say the Rosary at the four abortuaries in our area, e.g. Germantown, Shady Grove, Rockville and Silver Spring. The group concentrates on prayer, i.e., there are no protests, demonstrations, police involvement with this group of souls from various parishes. The next Rosary Tour will be on September 5th (Labor Day). For more information, please contact Bill Luksic at bluksic1@verizon.net

Weekly Mass next door to abortion clinic:
The arrival of Late Term Abortions in Germantown has been a call to action for all Pro-Lifers in the area! Weekly Masses will be scheduled in the building next door to the Germantown late term abortion clinic. St. Martins parishioners will be invited to attend on a rotational basis along with other local parishes.
Information for priests and parish contacts is available here.

Prayer vigils at Germantown clinic:
There has been a strong presence outside of Carhart’s Abortion Clinic on Monday mornings. Recent Mondays had upwards of 100 people present! If you are interested in providing a prayerful witness outside of the clinic, please stop by any Monday morning in between 8-10 am. Lives are being saved!!

Witness to Life outside Germantown clinic:
The Maryland Coalition for Life has requested local churches to participate as a Witness to Life outside the Germantown late term abortion clinic. The request is for each parish to commit to holding a prayerful vigil on Wisteria Dr. for one hour each week. Please email prolife@stmartinsprolife.com if you would like to be part of a St. Martins prayer group for one hour each week. The regular day and hour has not yet been decided but will be following responses to this request. The Maryland Coalition for Life is a community-based, pro-life network dedicated to bringing the many Maryland pro-life organizations together to end abortion in Maryland.

EVERY SATURDAY - Come out and pray the Rosary for Life: Respectfully and lovingly, with your pro-life colleagues who are out there every Saturday (rain and shine). We stand/walk along the public sidewalk in front of the local abortion clinic (or pray from the comfort of your car and see what it's like!). No sign-up: come for 20 minutes to 2 hours, say a Rosary or two, once a month or every Saturday! Pray for the moms and dads and babies and clinicians. We love these women, parents, before, during, and after. We know we don't change hearts, only the Holy Spirit can - shining His Love through us. Everything (healing, eternal absolution) is possible through reconciliation with Jesus Christ. A counselor will wait outside afterward to offer comfort if the women are open. STAND and PRAY where they NEED US!
