About St. Martins Pro-Life Committee:
St. Martins Pro-Life Committee was formed in 2008 by members of St. Martins Catholic Church in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Our goal is straightforward - to strengthen the culture of life within our community and to provide practical assistance in local and regional Pro-Life efforts. We also work to educate our community about the evil that is abortion, the needless destruction of precious human life.

We meet monthly at St. Martins school. You are welcome to join us, please see the main page to find the date and location of our next meeting. Generally, meetings last about one hour and we discuss opportunities where we can assist local and regional efforts in spreading the Pro-Life message or to help local outreach programs that assist pregnant woman. We also inform each other of significant Pro-Life (or pro-abortion) related news and have a discussion about it.

One of the tools we use to educate our community is to invite top quality speakers to address our community directly and have provided some great information as a result. We encourage anyone who wishes to address the community with a message of love and compassion to contact us. If you know of a Pro-Life speaker that may be available to talk with the committee or to the community, we would love to hear from you as we, together, go about God's work in promoting the sanctify of life.

We work with other ministries within St. Martins church (and beyond) to help coordinate Pro-Life events and activities. Again, we welcome fresh ideas for activities that we can get involved in.

Our goal is to strengthen the culture of life within our community and provide practical assistance in local and regional Pro-Life efforts, and advocate respect for life in multiple venues. We shall give voice to those without a voice!
